This little unit was bought for me as a house warming gift by some friends who had just come back from Japan. I must say, what a clever design! I love my music, so being able to take it anywhere is such a handy thing. Having said that, don't expect the greatest quality of sound out of this little MP3 player, obviously it's got no bass response and the mids are fairly muddy. The only reason I don't completely love it is the x4 batteries it takes to power this little thing. It really chews through them, and I don't think it's ever lasted as long as the recommended battery life has suggested. Rechargeable batteries are a must with this player. I just love this!! It's smaller than I thought it would be, but that's even better!! I love how it lights up and it just floats in the water. You can use it anywhere. You don't need any programs, just use your finder/windows explorer and drop the songs right into the music directory. At first I was worried if this would work with either one of my macs, but its compatible, so don't fear whether it can be detected or not. All the instructions are in japanese and there doesn't seem to be an english manual online, but it's pretty self explanatory. Just remember when you power it on, to hold the button down for awhile.
