This cat is great! It has very realistic movements and actions; when my child's babysitter came in, I forgot that I left it on. She thought it was a real cat (which I don't have) and screamed, shocked that a toy would turn it's head, look at her, and meow! The body itself is covered in fur but it is not truly plush, as you can feel the plastic housing of the cat. This is more sophisticated than many of the furreal pets I have seen and though a bit costly, is worth it. If you want a surprise, pull its tail or rest it face down or on its side while awake.
