This is a very cute robotic chick, however i do have one negative to mention. I can't figure out to turn it off!!! Perhaps i am mistaken, but as far as i know the only way to turn it off is to remove the batteries (requires removing a screw, all the while the bird is chirping and flapping it's wings). Other than that, this toy is pretty darn cool. …read full review

It does what it says. It's a cute little toy that chirps when you pet its head and the flaps it's wings occasionally. The wings are very robotic sounding and takes away from otherwise pretty realistic looking and sounding chick. Would have been better if the legs moved, the eyes blinked, or the beak opened and closed. Great little gift for the desktop. Keep away from dogs! They will chew this little toy up in seconds! …read full review

Really really cute. I agree that the robotic grinding noises take away from the naturalness that the product aims for, but once you get over it you come to expect it, and then ignore the sound. Other than that it is fluffy and very realistic - would have been an added bonus if the tiny beady eyes blinked or the beak opened and closed when it made noise. I love to hold this thing while surfing the web - I can't have real pets in my apartment so this little guy is a pretty good stand-in. I also can't tell if the chirps are random or not - the only one that's not random is a pat on the head. Other than that, it all seems random to me. But random is good - that' …read full review

Segatoys Dream Chick, A present I bought for my little brother which later became my new desktop friend. A adorable replica of a life size 3 day old chick. Pet it for it to chirp and flap its wings. Makes a great companion for the young, and a cute desktop ornament for adults! Good for all ages. …read full review

I saw an article on this little treasure on one of the tech websites and absolutely could not get a hold of one anywhere else. Audiocubes came through in a pinch, though - and with wonderful results! The Dreamchick is nothing shy of adorable: its chirps and kews are spot on perfect, and it looks almost true to life. Add to this the touch sensitivity and it's pretty much vying for the title of cutest trinket of all time. The only real drawback is the somewhat mechanical grinding noise that accompanies its wing flapping; it's quite noticeable and spoils the illusion somewhat. But really, not much could detract from this wonderful little gem. My girlfriend LOVE …read full review

How can this not be cute? Really delivers on the product description. Makes a loud robotic terminator noise when it flaps its wings which is a bit of a rude awakening every time. Then makes little sad chirps when you ignore it. Love it! …read full review
