The size of the mouse is very suitable for notebook use and travelling. The calble is rather long; no-one really needs 1.5m cable for a mouse next to a laptop. The cable length is fine if you need to connect the mouse to a desktop PC under your table. BUT: this mouse is not silent. While it produces no clicking (very good), the cover which also forms the buttons, produce some plastic sort of cracking which is almost a loud as an ordinary click! The buttons move easily and need a bit of getting accustomed to. However, the right button sometimes hang. That is, it remains 'switched on' even if the button is not pressed. Very annoying in Opera where keepi …read full review

This mouse is a life saver!! One of my roommates likes to play this online game that involves a LOT of double clicking so all I hear is *clickclick clickclick clickclick* all night long while I am trying to study. I bought this mouse for her as a sign of compromise. Although it is strange at first to feel like you are clicking but not actually hear anything, it only takes a little bit to get used to. This mouse is stealthily silent! Even the scrolling wheel is very quiet. I read other reviews that described it as a touch pad shaped like a real mouse and thought that it was a very modern idea. However, when I received the mouse I was pleasantly surprised to d …read full review

A silent mice. It does what its advertised to do, not make sounds from clicks. So technically, its a good thing. But I find that most high quality mouses (like my MX Revolution) make little sound too (albeit it being louder but not too discernable). But if you want a really silent mouse, go for this. …read full review

I have been wanting to get this mouse for months now, and finally I get it! My old optical mouse, although reliable, was very loud which got me looks from people who wanted to have some quiet time. Now, this "mouse with a silencer" as my friends call it, is the one i use wherever, whenever. One slight problem with this mouse is the size. My hand is very wide so it is a little bit more difficult to grasp than other mice. And, it takes a little while to get used to the no "click" sound. It is very sensitive so you might have to lower your mouse sensitivity setting. The right click was a little unresponsive but just like any other product, you need to use it to …read full review

This silent mouse is great! My nephew is an avid gamer and with the TV sitting in the living room, the constant clicking was really getting annoying. Like nails on a chalk board annoying. With this mouse, he can click as much as he wants without disturbing me. Actually, I've been thinking about getting one for work. Especially after I felt how smoothly this mouse works. …read full review

I am totally satisfied with the amazingly silent buffalo usb mouse. That noisy sound of clicks are a bad memory, at last!! I hated that click sound and my time spent on a PC was rapidly decreasing mostly because of my intolerance towards that clicks. Imagine how many nights spent covering my right hand with a bent multilayer blanket so as to lower the sound of clicks that could disturb any sleeping family member or neighbor. Eventually, I couldn't do any work at nighttime just because my hand muscles were drastically suffering from that weight put over my hand. Bad dreams anyway with this marvellous and drastically useful silent usb mouse! A MUST FOR ALL …read full review

The black, nice looking, shiny Buffalo Silent Mouse is in use since 2 weeks. It took one day to get used to it because this mouse is small and has a high sensitivity. However, the speeds of pointer and double-click could be slowed down and now I never want to go back to any of the old noisy mice. It is a great advantage not to disturb anyone in the same room or neighbor room with mouse clicking noises for hours or even the whole daylong. With the Silent Mouse, I like to surf in the Internet while hearing music or news or to concentrate on tasks at the computer without hearing clicks. …read full review

Excellent product! I love the silence of this mouse, and the size and shape are perfect! It is sleek and feels great. It didn't take long to get used to the feel and the silence of this mouse. I could never go back to a "loud" mouse. I definitely do not regret this purchase! …read full review

Well after reading the rather poor reviews of the Thanko Silent Mouse on the Net, I was a little leary about getting the Buffalo Silent mouse. However, after using it for most of the day, it seems to be a quality product. It's smaller than you might expect, prolly 3/4 size of a std mouse. Very sensitive. (I had to turn down the pointer speed in the mouse settings.) It is totally silent, but the buttons and scrollwheel appear to be very good quality--even clicking the scrollwheel is good. It's a bit weird not hearing the "click" feedback, but I'll get used to that. Highly recommended unless you have large hands in which case the size may be a problem. …read full review
