'Baggu' is the Japanese word for bag. Originally designed by Emily Sugihara and her mother, the BAGGU is the result of necessity encountering ingenuity. When unable to locate an inexpensive, reusable bag for groceries, the mother daughter duo created their own.
Cut from a single piece of ripstop nylon, and shaped like a standard plastic grocery bag, the first BAGGU bags were made to be durable, infinitely reusable, and cute. Instantly popular, with Teen Vogue praising them before they ever hit the shelves in 2007, BAGGU has since expanded their product line. Each BAGGU is designed as solution to an every day problem using nylon, canvas or leather.
The Ripstop Backpack is a hard working, lightweight backpack. Compacts into its own zip pocket, the backpack is made ideal for travel. Front zip pocket and adjustable straps.
