C.C. Filson was a homesteader and a railroad conductor before settling into the city of Seattle during the 1890's. In 1897, the Great Klondike Gold Rush had taken America by storm, and thousands flocked north. By then, Filson already had years of experience operating a small logger's outfitting store. With a strong work ethic, and a reputation for honesty, he made his pitch. The rest was history.
Bringing that illustrious history into the present, Filson introduces their new line of Dry Bags, crafted from 18 oz vinyl-coated polyester with waterproof straps and handles. Made with all the same care and craftsmanship as their canvas carryalls, these bags provide ultimate protection under a tough, all-black exterior.
The rugged, vinyl-coated polyester large duffle is ideal for transporting gear by pickup or boat. Its roll top with hook-and-loop closure, webbing handles and removable shoulder strap provide protection from wear, water and dust.
